What phone should I buy?

Written on October 14, 2008

moviles Six months ago it was decided to renew my Blackberry Curve Blackberry Pearl by a dot that was leaving. IPhone3G came out before and when I decided to buy out the Blackberry Bold that still would not buy but it does not matter because I decided to buy a Nokia N810 before and it does not matter because now I think only one G1 Android (HTC Dream with the operating system from Google ) I do not know when I can buy and predict that this will not buy the phone.

Meanwhile I continue with my Blackberry Pearl will already serving almost two years old. Who would have told her that we would take both together?

I believe that too much kills the market expectation: you do not buy anything today if you know that tomorrow something better comes on the market for a similar price. Although you do not know what it is or whether you'll like it, prefer to wait and see and then decide.

At that Apple has plenty of experience, much more in the world of hw + sw anyone right now. Therefore, advertised and placed on the market the product at once or almost at once. I remember when I worked translating sw Apple sent us prototypes of products for testing in Perspex boxes through which you could see the plates and chips but never sent a final hw its look & feel of the market.

Today, the opposite happens, you have pictures and videos of Android and the guys who have not yet developed a device. That was happening to all those who spoke at the Google Developer Day sessions on Android: however much they were employees of Google, came from California and were nosqué Android Managers had only been able to use the simulator that comes with the SDK but not been able to test their creations in a real phone.

Is not an entire assembly to generate visits to blogs that do not stop talking about these issues and make money with Ads?

From my experience with wireless stuff. I'll tell you that for me the most useful is the Black Berry. It is more to tell you that I have prepared the request of the Black Berry Bold.
The iPhone is brutal and cellular multimedia, but has some serious shortcomings: applications in the background, the policy of app store, the copy + paste, send attachments, sdk gelded.

Moreover Android looking good as I explained in the blog when he left the G1, but to be seen. In addition Android is an OS update and can always depend on the company hardware that implements it, so it is an advantage over the iPhone.

I would avoid those mobiles with Windows Mobile and if you buy a nokia and you have a mac, Eye! that not all can be synchronized ;) with iSync

What most infuriates me is not able to go to a store and say "hi i want an iphone" or "HTC Dream" or whatever. I can not even buy on the website of apple or htc.

I have to go to phone (or the operator that is) and arrollidarme, telling them that they will be true for years and I etonces sell the device in question, all a scam that is targeting not expect Google ...
